A wide variety of computational methods and sensor technologies are necessary to develop the context-aware Operating Room of the Future. The topics to be covered by the workshop include (but are not limited to):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Computer vision for surgical activity analysis<\/li>\n<li>Visual perception and attention<\/li>\n<li>Context-aware operating rooms<\/li>\n<li>Modeling and representation of surgical procedures<\/li>\n<li>Modeling for surgical simulation, training, and assessment<\/li>\n<li>Modeling for surgical workflow evaluation and optimization<\/li>\n<li>Recognition of surgical steps\/actions\/events<\/li>\n<li>Semantic analysis of surgical interventions<\/li>\n<li>Surgical sensor networks<\/li>\n<li>Surgical skills assessment<\/li>\n<li>Surgical data mining<\/li>\n<li>Automatic surgery documentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This year, we proudly announce\u00a0that<strong><em> best paper awards <\/em><\/strong>will be presented at the workshop.
